Gibson Explorer

gibson explorer chitarre sixstrings.itGibson introduced and started producing the Explorers in 1957 made out of Korina wood. Because production records are unclear, it is not known exactly how many were made, but the original production total has been estimated in less than 50 pieces.

The Explorer featured a long curved headstock with all the tuners placed in a straight line on one side, design that has been popularized by Grover Jackson, founder of Jackson Guitars and other electric guitar makers such as Kramer and Hamer 20 years later. Continua a leggere
